BRIEF HISTORY OF THE ORGANISATION:
"Shylaja Mahila Mandali” is a women voluntary organization registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with Regd. No.21/1975. It has F.C.R.A.No.010160379 and also Income Tax Exemption Certificates U/s 12 A and 80 G granted by the commissioner, Income Tax Tirupati
The Governing Body of the Organisation has 7 (seven) Women Trustees. All the members are committed and experienced women social workers with a brilliant record of varied social services in the field of voluntary sector for the past about 30 years.
The Organisation is headed by a dynamic Women social worker Mrs L.Nagamani. She is a President and Chief Functionary of the organization with a tract record of good social services to the poor and needy rural women. She is reputed for her able financial management.
The Organisation is having infrastructure facilities, staff and volunteers to implement the activities at the grass root level for the welfare of the rural poor. The organization is running one Anganwadi Training Center since last 2 years in Kadapa city with financial aid of about Rs.25 lakhs provided by the women Department and Child Welfare, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
